Chapel Conveyance 1885

The original conveyance of 1885 from Thomas William, the Earl of Leicester conveyed the land free of charge for the use of a Chapel and a Sunday School for local parishioners and for no other purpose whatsoever.

The parishioners who took the title on behalf of the Primitive Methodists were: Ephraim Seaman (blacksmith); Henry Large; James Linford, Henry Riches; George Codling; John Crane and George Farthing - all labourers from Flitcham; plus Henry Chambers, a carpenter from Dersingham and James Taylor, a labourer from Anmer.
