This scene is early 1960s. Note that the pub sign faces the road. The adjacent wall, which divided the pub car park from the shop next door (off picture) was demolished in 1996 when the building was refurbished as the community centre. The little Austin A35 estate car was owned by the Allum family, who would have been visiting the Elyards at The Bell.
